Venue Trends 2018

26 Apr 2018

Industrial-type venues are a growing trend for 2018. They’re unexpected, original, and couples can most certainly stamp their personalities all over them.

With so many weird and wonderful venues across the UK, we’ve chosen to check out The Chainstore, Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London.

With so much to decorate, it’s a blank canvas where couples can go wild with their imagination and creativity to design their perfect day.

One couple who will be getting married here in June 2018 told us why they have chosen The Chainstore for their big day. “We loved the feeling around the area, it’s got a lovely arty vibe. It’s a really peaceful spot, even though it's so close to Canary Wharf and across the river from the O2.

It has great views and tons of space to let our creativity run wild, but we also want the natural beauty of the venue to shine through. The wooden beams, brickwork and the navy doors fit in perfectly with our white and navy colour palette. Instead of flowers on the tables we have opted for foliage to tie it all together.”

This historic Grade II listed brick building boasts a triple height ceiling. With plenty of space here, you can dance the night away until 2am with all your friends and family. Situated right opposite the O2, this venue provides stunning riverside views for your wedding photos - and for your guest’s selfies.

Brides, Grooms and guests can arrive in style to this venue by boat along the River Thames. Pull up at Trinity Buoy Wharf Jubilee Pier and walk straight in to this impressive wedding venue!

And let’s not forget to mention that it has its own Lighthouse - the only Lighthouse in London. Amazing!

London has many more quirky venues for you to get married in, so here’s a few for you to check out…
